Thought's From Tony Morgan...I Had To Post It!
I had a great conversation with some friends a few days ago. One of the women was talking about her old job. She left that position to pursue her dream. I don't exactly remember what she used to do, but they replaced her old position with a vending machine. I'm glad she left her job. She was designed for so much more.
How are you investing your life?
Is it what you were designed to do?
Are you fulfilled?
Do you enjoy the people around you?
Do they help bring the best out of you?
Do you bring the best out of them?
Do you have enough financial resources to contribute to God's work and support your family?
What lasting impact are you making?
Life is short. Just wanted to make sure you realized that sometimes you have to make the move. Sometimes God doesn't fully reveal his will until you take the first step (Joshua 3:14-17).
Live boldly.

One thought to add...I don't want to "conrtibute" financially to the work of God, I want to become a "funder" of God's work a Cyrus through whom He can trust to funnel His resources! How about you?

Having pastored for more than 27 years, there were many times when I felt that the people would have loved to replace me with a vending machine. They would put a buck in on Sunday morning, pull a few knobs and expect to recieve all the blessings of God. Unfortunately, we were preaching the Kingdom of God, so they pulled our plug.
