God Answers Prayers a Testimony of Healing

Below you will find two emails that we recently sent to friends and family who are apart of our personal prayer and support team. People responded immediately with an outpouring of prayer. Late yesterday afternoon...we got word of God's response and baby Samuel's release. So why post it here? Because we God answers our prayers we must share it. When weak and broken people like ourselves are allowed the chance to pray and see God move we have to share it. His glory must be proclaimed in all the earth. Because this is a "public" forum I removed our friends' last name from the post.

Friends,

God is at work! Last night John called to us on his way home from the hospital. Baby Samuel was released from the Hospital. The doctors performed an MRA (more advanced and more expensive scanning technology) and determined that the blood spot was a bruise. This bruise should eventually be absorbed into the body and he should be fine. The Doctors are saying that he shouldn't have another seizure. Thank you for your prayers. It was such a joy to hear the entire family would be home together after 8 days in the hospital. God is faithful. God is so faithful!

Your prayers make a difference. Those quick "arrow prayers" and those large "bon-fire" type prayers all are effective.

When we see God's hand we have two responsibilities: 1. To share our testimony giving God glory. 2. To be changed by God's miraculous intervention; moved to pray for another and see God move again.

James 5:13-18
13 Is any one of you in trouble? He should pray. Is anyone happy? Let him sing songs of praise. 14 Is any one of you sick? He should call the elders of the church to pray over him and anoint him with oil in the name of the Lord. 15 And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; the Lord will raise him up. If he has sinned, he will be forgiven. 16 Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective.
17 Elijah was a man just like us. He prayed earnestly that it would not rain, and it did not rain on the land for three and a half years. 18 Again he prayed, and the heavens gave rain, and the earth produced its crops.
(from New International Version)

Thank you for your prayers.

ORIGINAL PRAYER REQUEST

Please pray for John & Lydia. Their baby Samuel was born 8 days ago and had a siezure while in the hospital. The tests revealed a blood spot on his brain. I went up to the hospital last night and prayed with them. They were expecting to be discharged yesterday, but the latest MRI/Catscan(i forget which one) came back with no change in the blood spot. Which leads Doctors to think there is a possibility of continued bleeding. They have no clue as to the cause/source. He hasn't had a seizure since Wednesday. He is absolutely beautiful!

There will be another test today. John is hopeful that they will be going home today. This is based upon faith and the Word of God...not what the Doctors are saying. Cause the Doctors don't know what to say at this point.

Pray for Lydia and John's emotional strength. We are praying for a full healing a breaking in of the Divine Hand to do the impossible. (above photo is not baby sammuel)
