Nice. What every baptist church used to be huh? So they have bad coffee? No dancing? Moldy smelling hymn books? That's what I remember from Baptist church....I can never remember, is premillenial good or bad?

It is not a good thing that they misspelled it, but premillennialism is a good thing, believing that Jesus returns before the millennium. I believe that would be the literal Biblical view.
Since I fussed, I sure hope I spelled millennium write, or should I say right, or the correct word should probably be correctly.

Times have changed. The definition of what is sinful has changed in many denominations. This means it wasn't sin to start with or they were wrong in the beginning. I just don't know what is so hard about going by the BOOK.

Sista Cala,

Somethings we've called sin in the past were simply religious, cultural, or personal convictions and a move from those has been good. Other things we've been afraid to call as sin, for fear of judging or because if we called others to holiness we'd have to raise our own personal standard.

I am totally for calling people to a deeper walk of holiness and believe in a grace that is ours when repent if we've blown it. True repentance and grace is ours everytime...just hit delete and get back in the game. But the call should be to raising our own personal standards and calling others to join us as we run the race together.

You got it right...go by the BOOK. The problem is Satan has been twisting God's Words since Eden.

Sista Cala,

Thanks for commenting.

Jenn...scary very scary...Actually a bunch of us from FSM are going to Asbury this weekend to pray, worhsip, and bless. I hope they don't know I can't stand Bluegrass.

Jerry...Post Tribe...Premillenist is a good thang! All of the churches I've been apart of in the past...only the Seminary graduates would even have know Premillinist was a word...let alone identified themselves with it. But arrogance is never becoming Christ-Followers and that's what I sensed when reading that Billboard.

If I only felloshipped with people that I agreed with completely...I am not sure I'd even be married. Someone once said if two people always agree on everything one of them is not necessary.

Jerry...thanks for your witty comments you always add so much. BTW, dear readers visit Jerry's blog.
