Awesome Testimony From Josh Constable

Do not have long, but wanted to update everyone what is going on with me and what miracle God has performed again. I rode up to Chicago with the team going to Africa with only $200 I needed for the trip, which left me close to $3,000 short. The leadership of the team was allowing me to travel with my packed suitcases and no money or plane ticket for that matter. By the time arriving in Chicago, the money had NOT yet come in so I had to tel the team bye and head back in the van to Indianapolis with the driver.

Upon being gone from the airport and wondering what the Lord was doing and how I "Missed Hearing Him on this one" and discussing with the van driver what God was teaching me, van driver received a phone call from the leader of our trip 15-20 minutes later and he said "Bring Joshua back, the money just got provided for him and he is going with us..." Praise to the name of Jesus! This was NOT a 11th hour, or a 11:59 minute situation, this was a 12:01 moment!!! I was in tears of how God did it again and really moved on the situation to bring me to where He called me forth to in Africa.

I will share more details later after 17 hours in Germany, and than arrived in Ethiopia for a 10 hour layover and then on a plane to Sudan...where we were deported (details later), and went onto Egypt and then back to Ethiopia where we have been last couple of days. We will be heading out Mon. to Djibouti for a week before heading back to America.

This is brief but I will share details later when have more time or when I get back in America on May 2 or 3. Depending how much sleep I need since we have been lacking between airport stays and airplanes. We have been tested greatly as a team, but it is amazing watching what the Lord Jesus is doing in this time.

Please keep our team in prayer and for me personally on what the Lord has for me upon my return to America, as the Lord is opening some doors for me and I am not sure what He has me to go through. Thank you all. Be blessed in Jesus name!

Families Remembered and Victims Never Forgotten.

Pray for the family members and friends of these victims by name. Lift them up! Father, I ask that precious Holy Spirit, would pursue, surround, infill, these family members in their grief. If they do not know You, draw them to yourself so that they recieve Lasting Comfort from the true Comforter. Give them your peace and strength as they grieve the loss of the ones they loved. Jesus, you wept over the death of one you loved. You know their pain and turmoil.

Pray For Wild Branch Ministries

I watched this video and am moved to pray for this Church in Vancouver, Washington. Maybe its because they are in Washington, maybe it is because they currently owe/need to raise $235,000 and I can personally relate to a ministry having that kind of obligation. Maybe its because I like the idea of leather recliners in a cool service. Maybe it is because of Graham Cooke's passion for this band of believers. I am Praying for them will you join me?

Composed by Ruth Fazal (see Composer), Oratorio Terezin is a full length work scored for orchestra, childrens choir adult choir and three vocal soloists. Set in the context of the Holocaust, using children's poetry which miraculously survived from the ghetto of Terezin, woven together with passages from the Hebrew scriptures, this piece explores the question so many ask in the face of human suffering: "Can God be found in my place of pain?"

Over 15,000 children passed through Terezin, of whom only one hundred survived.

The poignant innocence of their poetry, set against the cry of 'How long will the wicked exult?' causes us to come face to face with the testing of faith, in the context of unspeakable human suffering and deprivation.

The musical style is both dramatically intense, and sweetly lyrical. The juxtaposition of the children's and adult's voices, along with those of the Voice of the Prophet, the Voice of God and the Voice of Suffering create the tension found in the midst of feelings of rejection and abandonment alongside the hope deep within the human heart that all will be well.

With a population of 1.9 million Jews in New York we are praying that this event will have a huge impact upon those that turn out. Pray that their eyes would be opened and they would encounter Jesus as their Messiah. Many Jews no longer practice their faith because their hearts were offended at G-d by the tragedy and horror of the holocaust. Let Jesus bring healing and salvation to their hearts.

An Update on Paul Cain

In light of Paul Cain's recent announcement of restoration to ministry, we have been repeatedly asked for input. First, we rejoice in God's mercy that provides anyone with total forgiveness for any sin that is repented of. However, forgiveness of our sin is not the same as being restored to public ministry. We care much about Paul's life before God and his future ministry. We believe that his future ministry could far surpass his former ministry, if he allows the full restoration process to take place. Paul originally agreed to submit to Larry Alberts and his team in his restoration process. These men are well known and respected by many of Paul's friends in ministry. We strongly urged him not to leave Larry's care and oversight. However, he left Larry's oversight just over a year ago and moved to California to relate to a group of men that we do not know much about. Neither do we know the process that they say that Paul went through. Therefore, we cannot say with confidence that this is a genuine restoration that is according to the principles of God's Word. It will be harmful to Paul and others if he is released prematurely and then relapses into his past failures. As shepherds in the Body of Christ, we would bear great responsibility if another person was hurt by Paul's sin. We ask you to join with us as we continue to ask for the fullness of God's grace in his life and for his future restoration to public ministry.

Persistent Prayer Needed

Please pray for Caleb Sammuel Bennett. Rory and Noel Bennett are expecting his birth and recently recieved this news:We had an ultrasound that shows our baby has some enlarged points in his brain which could mean Down syndrome or a drain shunt put in at birth. Please pray for us… Our friends Dan & Lori and Brad & Erica have both seen God do miracles with a pregnancy that had the possibility of a difficult outcome. Please pray for them.

Prayer for this Little One

Please pray…My middle son Jesse’s baby Kylie’s condition is worsening. What was originally thought to be the cute way she squeaked when she breathed has been found to be part of a serious health condition that prevents her from getting enough oxygen.(Laryngeal stridor is a whistling noise coming from the baby as he breathes, usually associated with distress.) She has been hospitalized once, and now needs constant monitoring. Jesse’s wife, Cathy returned to the east coast to have the baby due to a need for insurance, so she returned to her old job. Following is an excerpt from Cathy’s e-mail:

“They had almost trached her but thank god she was able to bring her o2 back up on her own. They put a camera down her throat and found that her trachea is lazy it is called Laryngeal trachea maylshia with Gerd and that go hand and hand. they don't know if she will out grow it or require surgery it is a waiting game right now. They are treating her for gerd she is not to have thin liquids so we have to thicken her formula she has to have a sleep study in a couple of weeks I don't even know what that is for. Her weight is not where it should be so if it continues that way they will do the surgery. I basically don't sleep because i am up all night checking her breathing and of course still have to work because the medical bills our through the roof. “

She is not gaining weight and growing like she should, because most of her calories are being burned up in the effort it takes to breath. Please pray for her, please pray for Cathy.
